Verizon Wireless Ipad

Apple proved it’s a wise company when it made the iPhone 4 and the iPad available on both Verizon and AT&T. Since then people have had a choice and services to compare so that they can make sure they are getting the most for their money. Now, after Verizon has accommodated the iPad and the iPad 2, it’s getting ready to make available for sale the iPad 3 that’s estimated to be sold in more units on Verizon than on AT&T. The yearly sales volume is estimated to 3 to 4 million on Verizon and around 2 million on AT&T.

The reason for these different numbers is considered to be the reduced coverage area provided by AT&T’s LTE network. Another reason is Verizon’s willingness to let its iPad subscribers to use their iPad as mobile hotspot. That’s why many potential customers feel that they have more to gain by signing a contract with Verizon or using its services. However, the iPad 3 it’s spectacular on its own, no matter if your buy a wireless version from Verizon or not.

If you take a look at the specs made available by Apple you will easily realize that the new is very different from the old. The main impressive difference is the Retina Display made available that displays gorgeous images and the updated A5X processor that makes available quad-core graphics. Not to mention the 5-megapixel rear camera that has a VGA sensor placed on the tablet’s front. It’s true that the iPad 3’s screen still measures 9.7 inches, but the resolution made available is much higher: 1536 x 2048 pixels. If you do the math you will discover a pixel density per inch of 264PPI that can deliver that sharp video playback we all desire from tablets.

As expected, the design that incorporates that stunning touchscreen is as reliable and stylish as always: it’s made of scratch-proof glass and aluminum and it manages to stay feather-light. In addition, the design accommodates only four physical buttons so that you can fully enjoy the design’s curves. In my opinion the exterior is just as sleek as the interior operating system, iOS 5. When designing the new iOS 5, Apple insisted on the interface in order to make sure the user experience provided is as smooth as possible. Even the annoying notifications bar has been redesigned to be friendlier. Now, it will be displayed only when you swipe down from the screen’s top.

What you will also find impressive is the new email management and web browsing experience. Not to mention the 5 megapixel camera that’s a huge improvement over the previous 07.MP camera and is even capable of recording 1080p videos.
