Problems With Ipad
As fascinating and as popular the iPad 2 is, it’s not a device that doesn’t cause problems and force users to deal with various issues. Most iPad reviews are positive while consumers can’t wait to get their hands on this Apple gadget. However, if you ever experience one of the iPad problems I’m going to list, don’t think twice about letting other iPad 2 users know how you discovered and dealt with the issue.

A first iPad problem is related to backlight bleeding. This problem is not encountered in all iPads but some units leak light around their edges or display light patches in certain screen areas. Such a behavior is not normal for an iPad 2 display and is usually visible when a dark image is displayed on the screen. That’s why, after you purchase an iPad 2, you should check its display for light leaks and faulty pixels. If you discover abnormalities you shouldn’t hesitate to contact Apple for an inspection.
Another source of problems is Wi-Fi. Many iPad 2 owners have had multiple times a hard time staying connected to the Wi-Fi network of their choice. This problem was also reported by users of the original iPad and it was fixed through a firmware update. So, the iPad 2’s connectivity issues are a little concerning, considering that this new version comes with the latest iOS version.
Other iPad 2 owners have noticed yellowing on the screen. The good news is that this discoloration problem seems to go away in a few days of use. The source of the issue is considered to be the bonding glue that after production slowly dries. If the device is not shipped to a user just after it’s released from factory, you won’t be experiencing this iPad problem.

More annoying is the freezing of FaceTime, an app that many users of Apple devices are expecting to provide excellent quality. Some iPad 2 users have reported frequent FaceTime freezes that are unexpected and can be solved only by a reboot. It seems like FaceTime gets suddenly stuck at a certain frame and refuses to continue streaming live video until the device is rebooted.
Another problem that can be pretty disturbing for those who use their iPad 2 intensely is related to heating. The iPad 2 comes with a more powerful processor and thinner profile, so the increase in heat, although expected, can be dangerous if it exceeds a certain threshold. If you notice that the iPad gets really hot, really fast even if you don’t use it for video playback or other demanding tasks, you should think about contacting Apple.
