Pictures of Apple MacBook Nano have surfaced the Web since 2008. This mini computer presents an Intel Atom processor, like all the computers in this series, having a maximum speed of 1.60 GHz, a 10 inch display and 2 GB of DDR2 RAM, 320 GB space in the hard drive.
The weight of this Apple MacBook Nano is around 2.2 lbs. The computer presents on the back cover the Apple logo, although there were a lot of rumours that the computer was actually designed by other manufacturer and not by Apple.
The computer can run Windows XP operating system, but also the Mac software. The decision belongs to the buyer. If you want the original operating system of a Mac computer, meaning the Snow Leopard OS, you don’t have to tell Apple representatives. If you want a Microsoft system, let them know your wish. The operating system that comes as an option will increase the computer’s price. When the first Nano was released, only two colours were available. The situation continues today, this model being available in white or black. If you think those colours doesn’t represent you, you are free to choose also other type of colours, simply by attaching a skin to the computer’s covers.
Apple was extremely reserved when asked about a mini notebook or a multi touch netbook. The answer let itself too much expected. When talking about netbooks, we refer to a category of mini notebooks to medium notebook, which are designed mainly for Internet purposes. A device like this should be lightweight and easy to carry. In fact, this is the main reason for getting a mini notebook right? You have access to the Internet on your MacBook 17, so why do you need a more portable computer, if we can say that? So, the networking isn’t the only thing that counts for a netbook user. It wants also that the computer to be very light and really designed for mobility. Just like a mobile phone, but not a mobile phone.
For a long time, Apple though this is not a very good investment, the tablet industry. But apparently they are wrong, because the future definitely belongs to the tablet, otherwise why did Apple created a mobile phone, that looks like a PC tablet. They probably want to invest more in communications using phones, than in computers.
Because Apple doesn’t make a clear statement, we have to assume these things. Until Apple will reconsider its position regarding tablets, you are free to buy the MacBook Nano, the first computer designed by Apple for its customers which are always on-the-run. This toy can be used by home users, but especially by business users, that have the mobility needs more increased.11
