Ipad Information
After you buy an iPad you will have to discover its basic capabilities in order to start enjoying its help. There’s both hardware and software information that a novice iPad user should definitely have in mind if he/she wants to use the tablet to his/her advantage. That’s why I’ve decided to make available below some basic iPad information that will help you get going.

Let’s first consider the hardware buttons available. The one that you need to hold down in order to turn off your iPad is the Power button. After a few seconds of pressing this button you will notice the display of the “Slide to Power Off” bar that needs to be slid across the screen in order for the iPad to actually shut down. At a later time, when you are interested in resuming your iPad activities, you simply need to press the same button for around 3 seconds in order for the table to become functional. You should also use the Screen Rotation Lock button that makes sure the iPad no longer automatically switches between landscape and portrait mode when a position change is detected. In some cases this behavior is unnecessary. You should also know that you can easily take a picture of your iPad’s screen by simultaneously pressing for a second the Home and Power buttons.
During iPad use you will most likely also experience unresponsive app behavior. In such a situation you shouldn’t panic. You should simply force the application to close by keeping the Power button pressed until the “Slide to Power Off” bar is displayed. Then, instead of sliding the bar across the screen, you will have to press and hold the Home button for a few seconds. If everything goes as expected, you should see the app go away and the homescreen taking its place. In that moment you can release the Home button.

You should also know that you can even use your iPad as digital photo frame. After you place your iPad in a dock, all it’s left to do is browse for a few minutes the settings of your iPad. You will have to access the Settings app and then tap the Picture Frame bar available in the left-hand pane. Afterwards, you will be given the chance to choose the photo album that you want to put on display and choose what effects should be used in order to improve the viewing’s quality. To finalize your settings you will have to switch the iPad to sleep mode and then use the Power or Home button in order to wake it up. You will also have to tap the flower icon located near the unlock bar.
