Ipad Clone

The iPad is a gorgeous and expensive high end device that has become pretty popular on the tablet market. Unfortunately, each new high-tech device has to confront on the market with various clones. The same thing happened with the iPad after its release in 2010. That’s why recently I’ve started wondering which one of the iPad clones available on the market is the best device that resembles the Apple tablet. After a little research I’ve discovered probably the best iPad clone that you can buy for half of the iPad’s price.

In terms of design, this iPad clone, also known as Gpad, looks exactly like the Apple iPad being made of the same material as the iPad. This clone measures 243 x 190 x 14.4mm and weighs around 690 grams. It provides an amazing colorful display in every direction and features a gorgeous 9.7-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels that looks just like the iPad’s display. On the front surface, this clone features the same iPad button, but it also has a front-facing camera. On the sides, the iPad clone features five loud speakers that don’t provide the same tone quality as that offered by the iPad and a 9V power supply that you will discover on the right side of the clone along with the menu and return buttons. On the bottom of the clone tablet you will find a 30-pin pick hole that allows you to link the device to a computer. You will also discover a 3.5mm headphone jack, a reset button and a power/sleep button. When you remove the black plastic part available on the back of the iPad clone you will find the 3G SIM card.

Differences start appearing when you take a look under the iPad clone’s hood. You will discover as processor a Freescale Imx processor with a Cortex-A8 inner core. This processor has only 800MHz and offers 512MB DDR2 memory and 4GB of flash memory. Regarding the operating system, this iPad clone runs on Android 2.2. You will have the possibility to access the Android Market from where you can easily download various apps and the possibility to use various features typical for Android devices such as a nice media player, an organizer and some preloaded apps. This iPad clone is able to support various connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and HTML browser. It also features G-sensor and a 3800mAh battery that guarantees up to 7 hours of work time on a single charge.

Bottom line, you can hardly differentiate these two devices, but you need to remember that the clone doesn’t have TF card interface and USB. Also remember that Gpads run on Android.
