IPad 3G 32GB
Released in 2010, the iPad is a gorgeous tablet equipped with plenty of advanced features. It measures 9.56 x 7.47 x 0.5 inches and weighs around 1.5 pounds, so it can offer a magazine-like feel when you hold it in hand. The front surface of the device is dominated by a 9.7-inch LED-backlit IPS TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 768 x 1024 pixels which is made of oleophobic coated glass. Under the screen, you will notice a Home button similar to the one available on the iPhone and iPod Touch while the back and sides are protected by matte aluminum. This tablet also comes with an onscreen QWERTY keyboard and an accelerometer that can change the iPad’s orientation from portrait to landscape and vice versa automatically.

On the right side of the iPad you will notice a volume rocker and a switch that can mute any alert sound while on the bottom of the tablet you will find a 30-pin dock connector and a small built-in speaker. You will also discover a 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro USB port. Under the hood, this tablet hosts a 1GHz Cortex-A8 processor with 256MB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Unfortunately, the iPad doesn’t provide microSD card support, so you will have to store files and apps on your tablet taking into consideration the memory available. Moreover, the original iPad runs on iOS 4 that can now be upgraded to version 5.1 and comes packed with various advanced features including Twitter integration, iBooks PDF reader, photo viewer/editor, TV out and text and multimedia messaging. You will also have direct access to iTunes which allows you to download various apps and games.
This tablet also supports home screen folders, app multitasking and a universal email inbox. Because of the new iOS upgrade you will also have the possibility to use AirPlay and AirPrint which allows you to wirelessly print documents directly from your iPad to compatible printers. This Apple device allows you to launch apps in just few seconds and offers a fast web browser which provides a great user experience. The iPad also supports various connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and 3G. Because of the 3G compatibility, the iPad is also able to provide GPS services allowing you to find your current location on a map and receive useful directions.

On this tablet you will also find a well featured media player that comes with a user friendly interface and can support various file formats. Unfortunately, no rear camera is available, so you won’t have the possibility to take pictures or record videos. With a battery that offers 10 hours of use, the iPad is a reliable device.
