Can Books Purchased On The Ipad Be Transferred To Another Ipad

If you purchase your books from the Apple Store, you should know that you won’t have any problem transferring them between devices.

That’s because once you’ve purchased the book of your interest from the App Store, you will be able to download it on any iPad or computer no matter if you have made the purchase using another iPad or computer. This is true only if you use iTunes 10.3. That’s because starting with this version you will discover in the Quick Links section a link that says Purchased. By clicking that link you will be able to navigate between all the books, music and apps that you’ve recently purchased from the App Store. You will be able to browse all the items purchased or only those that aren’t currently available in your library. That means you get to add filters and locate faster the information of interest.

By using the features offered by the Purchase link you will be able to keep the library available on your computer up-do-date no matter what other devices you use to make purchases. When you want to transfer a purchase to your computer, you simply need to click the iCloud Download button that you will find next to every item purchased. If you want to download all the items at once, you need to click the iCloud Download All button.

Just like you can transfer the books you’ve purchased on an iPad, for instance, to a computer you can transfer the same books to another iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch as long as the iDevice targeted runs on iOS 4.3.3 or later. That’s because you will find the same Purchased tab in iTunes (towards the bottom’s right side) and in iBookstore. If you look for this link in the App Store, you will find it in the case of the iPad towards the bottom and in the case of the iPhone and iPod Touch under the Update button.

So, if you are interested in transferring books you have purchased with the help of an iPad or computer on another iPad, you can use the following procedure. On the targeted iPad, you should open the iBooks app and then tap the Store button that’s available in the upper left or right corner. You will then have to sign in using the same account you have used for the original purchase. In the next step you will have to tap the Purchased link that we’ve been talking about. This link is located on the bottom navigation bar. You will then have to look for the book of interest in the tab displayed and tap the Download button the moment you discover it.
