Best Notebook
Many people would like to own a notebook computer mainly because these computers are portable and because they are capable of providing a great performance. The technology is on a constant advancement and because of this; we would like to own faster things which are also better when it is time for them to perform. We would like to own a mobile phone as small as possible or computers which are not larger then the size of a mobile phone. This is one of the reasons why the people are starting to prefer the notebook computers instead of the desktop ones. Many people would like to know which computer is the most reliable; they want to find out the most reliable notebook computer.
I should tell you that in the case of the notebook computer you can not talk about dependability like you can in the case of other similar devices. The reason for this is the fact that the notebook computers, in fact all the portable computers, are the devices which have the highest rating when it comes to breaking down. A study revealed that fact that in three or four years from the purchase, nearly one of four notebooks will have a malfunction. This means that in the first three years since the purchase 40% of the laptops will require some sort of repair or even replacement.
A study was made in which the notebooks which were produced by top manufacturers such as HP, Apple, Asus, Toshiba, Dell, Sony & others, were tested in order to see which of them was the most reliable notebook computer. The notebooks from Toshiba were on the top of the list, the ones from Asus coming closely on second. The other end of the list was occupied by HP, Gateway, and Acer, the notebooks manufactured by HP being on the last spot when it came to dependability. More than a quarter of HP notebooks break in the first three years since purchase and that is kind of bad.
As I said, each notebook has a high possibility of breaking down, mainly because in many cases, the manufacturer such as HP is not the one which manufactures the components which are included in the notebook. There are two types of manufacturers, the first one being the Original Design Manufacturer, which is the one that creates the components for the notebooks. The other type of manufacturer is the Original Equipment Manufacturer, and companies such as DELL, Voodoo, Alienware, HP, Compaq, and others are all part of this category. This means that these companies buy the components from the ODMs. There is a very high possibility that two notebook computers which have different manufacturers to contain components manufactured by the same ODM.11
