It comes with an arsenic free display glass, mercury free LED backlit, PVC free internal cables, recyclable aluminum enclosure and it meets the ENERGY STAR Version 5.0 requirements. Due to its components and its integrated 40-watt-hour lithium polymer battery, it’s battery life can last up to 5 hours. This is the smallest time registered out of the three different Mac models.

As far as the security concerns, it has no optical drive and user replaceable Ram, therefore, it provides moderate protection against a cold boot attack. But it at least has the case sealed and that makes them much harder to attack their memory.
